Description

Tarot does not predict the future.
Tarot improves it.

The Tarot deck consists of 78 cards containing images and numbers that are symbols. The father of analytical psychology, Carl Jung, believed that they reflected “archetypes of humanity,” or our universal qualities such as strength, ambition, and passion, making them ideal tools for therapy. He claimed that the Tarot is a mirror for our minds and a catalyst for dormant intuitive powers.

Tarot is not about magic, but about the power that lies in its use. Each card has a specific symbol that is associated with a specific meaning, but we can all understand them in our own way. By looking for answers to the questions we ask ourselves in the cards, we project our own unconscious knowledge onto them. They reflect what our subconscious already knows, but what has not previously reached the conscious mind. Analyzing what the cards mean to us allows us to see the patterns within which we function, understand what is happening around us and gain awareness of what is often deeply hidden in the subconscious and what we do not notice on a daily basis.

How can you use Tarot?

Tarot is used in various ways. Some people practice drawing one card every day. They check its meaning or follow their intuitive impressions that it evokes, and then consider how the card relates to their life or a specific situation they are going through and what solutions it can point to.

For others, Tarot works like keeping a diary – it is a tool for reflection, among others. over your life, relationships, career and inner world. It can help you identify obstacles that prevent you from moving forward or stimulate your creativity.

Fortune telling or self-improvement?

Self-improvement is more than just education in the classical sense. To become better, we must be able to dig deep within ourselves and find balance. We can be supported in this by, among others: meditation, the energetic power of gemstones or Tarot.

Unfortunately, modern pop culture has ingrained in us a stereotypical perception of these cards. When thinking about Tarot, many of us see a scene like from a movie: a dark room, a suspicious figure of a clairvoyant and a mood of fear when the ominous card of Death appears before our eyes. Meanwhile, Tarot does not have to be used to predict the future. However, it is an increasingly widely used tool supporting personal development.
